The property offers a small, sloped-entry pool, which is open year-round. A waterfall and spa tub adjoin the pool. The Sedona area offers hiking trails for all levels of expertise. The Airport Mesa Trail (reputed site of a New Age vortex) is within three miles of Adobe Grand Villas. The top of the mesa, reached by an easy drive, is a sunset-viewing spot. The Boynton Canyon Trail, within six miles, explores a box canyon with abundant wildlife. At Slide Rock State Park, 10 miles from the property, visitors can slide down a natural water chute. The West Fork Trail, 11 miles away, is a leafy hike with numerous creek crossings and close-up views of the sheer canyon walls. (All vehicles parked in trailhead lots must display a Red Rock Pass, sold at many area stores, hotels, and trailheads.) Horseback riding, mountain biking, and hot-air ballooning are available. Jeep tours visit canyons, Red Rock landscapes, and centuries-old Native American ruins. Golf courses combine top-notch play with spectacular scenery. Golf courses open to the public include Oakcreek Country Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr., and Sedona Golf Resort, designed by Gary Panks-both are about 11 miles away.
