Capodichino The most convenient airport for the Amalfi Coast is Naples Capodichino Airport. From Naples, you have several options. If driving, head for Highway A3 Salerno/Reggio Calabria, before taking the Castellammare di Stabia exit and following the SS145 to Sorrento, then the SS143 to the Amalfi Coast. Alternatively, take the Circumvesuviana railway line from Napoli Centrale to Sorrento, before hoping on a SITA bus to the Amalfi Coast. Boats bound for Amalfi and Positano depart daily from Naples, Salerno and Sorrento. Total cost is approx. EUR 7,00 per person each way. The easiest and most comfortable way from either Naples Airport or Naples Railway Station is by private transfer which can be arranged through the Concierge Desk.
