Description

The 3 Star Conti- as it is affectionately referred to- sits in a very central position in Zermatt village with everything easily accessible. Guests here appreciate relaxed simplicity without fuss and bother. The hotel has 36 well-appointed and comfortable bedrooms equipped with hair dryer- flat screen cable TV- radio- telephone- minibar and a balcony. Every morning guests are treated to a lavish buffet breakfast and invited to sit back and enjoy another cup of coffee- there is no rush here. The hotel offers free equipment storage with a ski room that features heated ski boot lockers. On winter Sundays Musiq Stubete folk music sessions are a tradition familiar to Conti regulars. A family business for more than 30 years under Mirja and Paul Kronig-Aufdenblatten the Conti is now part of the Matterhorn Group- a company owned by the burgher community of Zermatt that also operates the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof- the Riffelhaus 1853- the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat and a number of restaurants in Zermatt. The new management is keen to ensure that guests feel just as at home in the Conti as ever and will enjoy taking advantage of new offers such as discounted admission to the Alpine spa at the Zermatterhof. Zermatt itself is car free therefore guests are recommended to park in the Parking Terminal Taesch in the village before Zermatt. From there a shuttle train takes 15 minutes and runs frequently. Additional Information - Must provide the hotel with the security code on the credit card. Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents. Children age 3 to 8 pay CHF 20. Children age 9 to 12 pay CHF 65. Children 13 and over will be considered an adult and pay CHF 95. Child rates are per person per night. The hotel reserves the right to cancel without prior notification any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
