The Hotel was constructed in 1966 and was remodeled in 2005. Hotel Arribas - Praia Grande - Sintra Sintra is the farthest western and most ravishing area of the entire Portuguese land, the most beautiful farewell of Europe, where the land ends and the sea begins , according to Camões, Portuguese greatest poet of all times. The Arribas Hotel is located in Praia Grande, one of the most beautiful beaches on this magnificent coast. It is particularly appealing for a pleasant holiday. This 3-star hotel, is a modern and comfortable facility, 30 Km from the centre of Lisbon and 10 km from Sintra, classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996. The hotel has 59 rooms, 17 of them are suitable for families. All rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, heating, frigo bar, telephone, satellite TV, balcony and sea view. We have a 109 yard long outdoor saltwater swimming pool, one of the largest in Europe. The guest lounge has a selection of games, television and comfortable sofas for reading. Our day-time bar offers light meals. For dinner there is a wide selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes prepared with the finest ingredients. The dining room has a panoramic view of the sea. br For meetings or congresses there is a fully equipped room able to accommodate 280 persons. The hotel has a private garage.
