Description

The 3 star Hotel Illuster is located in the middle of Uster- a country town embedded in natural surroundings- undulating scenery and vast woodland- close to the scenic lake of Greifensee and its nature protection area that lend the landscape its character. The City of Zurich and its International Airport are just a few minutes journey away- the local rail station is just a two minute walk from the Hotel. Various sports and amenities- an indoor swimming pool- tennis courts- badminton- squash and the beautiful Greifensee are all within easy reach. Uster is a meeting point for National and International athletes- swimmers- rowers- triathletes and long-distance runners to name just a few. Guests arriving by car can use our own parking grounds. The rooms are spacious- comfortably furnished- have free WIFI internet access and offer recently renovated en-suite facilities. Start your day with a selection from our generous breakfast buffet and stop by at the shopping center that is conveniently located in the same building. The reception is open until 7.30pm. For arrivals thereafter please contact the hotel directly. The hotel is currently undergoing construction during the day between 8am and 5.30pm which can be noisy- Hotel Illuster apologises for any inconvenience caused. As the rebuild relates to the underground parking access is difficult and signs are to assist guests to simplify arrival. Please drive to the underground parking at Migros and follow signs to the second basement 2 UG where parking spaces to the right of the hotel entrance can be found. Additional information- Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Directions

Zurich-Kloten From Zurich Airport take highway 51 in the direction of Zurich Winterthur Glattbrugg. Change to Highway A1-A4 direction Schaffhausen St. Gallen then change to A53 direction Uster Rapperswil. Leave the highway at exit Uster-Nord. Continue into Uster keeping straight after you have crossed the railroad tracks and then take your right hand side following the next roundabout and you will reach the hotel.
