The 4-star Hotel Kettenbruecke in Aarau opened its doors in March 2016. Centrally located by the ancient town wall and in front of the historic Kettenbruecke Bridge- it sits adjacent to the Recreation area along the river Aare and is close to numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel interior is a mix of modern and ingenious design. The 24 double rooms and 3 suites are beautifully decorated and offer guests a high level of individual comfort. All rooms have wooden floors and oversized comfortable King beds- spacious Rain showers or generous Bath tubs- Complimentary Mineral water and Nespresso Coffee machine- Cable TV- Room Safe and FREE High Speed WIFI. The hotel and restaurant enjoy a culinary history that dates back to the last century when the estate was managed by Mina Frey. Open for lunch- Mon-Fri- and dinner- Mon-Sat. The current style of Cuisine features a revival of well-known national and international dishes- all served in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. A Buffet Breakfast is available between 06.30 and 09.30 weekday mornings and between 07.30 until 10.00 on Saturdays and Sundays. The highlight is Sunday Brunch served between 10.30-14.00. As well the popular restaurant there is Les Amis Club Bar- complemented by a Cigar Lounge- a separate Guest Lounge area and series of Meeting Rooms catering for both business and special celebrations. Reception operates limited hours- from 06.00 to 22.30 Monday to Saturday and until 15.00 on Sundays. Guests arriving outside those hours should contact the hotel in advance of arrival to make suitable arrangements. Parking is available in the nearby Floesserplatz. Additional Information- Must provide the hotel with the security code on the credit card. The hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number without prior notification.
