Description

Leeu Estates is located between the mountainside and river-just minutes away from the village of Franschhoek. It occupies a central position amongst vineyards-landscaped garden and fynbos-indigenous vegetation-in the Franschhoek valley. At the centre of this working wine farm is the meticulously refurbished 19th century Manor House and spacious cottages amount the gardens-oak trees and vineyards. The hotel has a restaurant-wine cellar-two guest lounges-honesty bar-spa and pool. The individually styled bedrooms and suites are filled with customised architectural detailing and tactile textures in calming colour schemes. The luxury en-suite bathrooms have marble floors-double vanity tops-underfloor heating-heated towel rails-generous showers and some also have free-standing bathtubs.

Directions

Cape Town Intl From the airport follow the exit signs. Take the Cape Town/Somerset West/N2 exit. At the N2 turn towards Somerset West. Follow the N2-then turn left onto R300. Proceed to the end of the road-then take the N1 to Paarl. Take exit 47-Klapmuts. Turn right onto the R44 and pass under the N1 highway. Cross over the traffic lights. Take the next left marked R45-Franschoek. At the T-junction turn right and drive for about 20 km. Cross over the bridge. Before entering the village turn right onto La Provence Road. Proceed up the main gate.
