A long established hotel owned by the same family for over 65 year. Refurbished and extended with a cool modern interior and a high level of personal service. The hotel has a busy bar and restaurant that is used by the locals and has won a number of prestigious food awards and is part of Visit Scotland Taste Our Best Campaign. With only twelve bedrooms in total the hotel prides itself on individual service and as such has high level of repeat customers. Ideally located with sea views and just a short walk to North Berwick town. It is in close proximity to 16 local Golf Courses all within a twenty minute drive from the hotel and some of the bedrooms overlook North Berwick - West Links and the sea. The hotel is happy to offer a golf booking service free of charge and will make all transport and golf bookings for any size of party -Golf Lockers are offered free of charge. The property is also suitable for all commercial travellers with free parking - free WiFi and local calls particularly suitable for companies who have requirements for accommodation close to Dunbar. All bedrooms have been fully refurbished and are equipped with all the expected amenities. Lobsters are a speciality of the hotel as it also owns and operates the well known and loved Lobster Shack at North Berwick Harbour along with the Rocketeer Restaurant. The Bar features a range of real ales and the hotel runs its own annual Beer Festival and has been a member of the Campaign for Real Ale CAMRA for over 25 years.
