Description

The Hotel was constructed in 1986 and was remodeled in 2009. Hotel is situated on the famous Chao Phraya River, right in the heart of the capital, provides a perfect combination of business and leisure facilities. It offers 525 elegant guestrooms and suites in contemporary Thai style, with international standard amenities and magnificent views of both the river and city. Centrally located, the hotel enjoys easy access to Bangkoks business, entertainment and shopping areas with regular, free shuttle boat services to the sky-train station. It is not possible to have 4 adults in our Plaza Suite, Grand Deluxe or Deluxe room.

Directions

Direction to the Property from Airport - Driving Directions. Connect to the Expressway from Rama IX, and exit at Xhan Road Exit. Pass the intersection and turn left on Charoenkrung Road, keep left 500 meters to the Hotels entrance. Estimated taxi fare. 500 THB one way. Direction to the Property from East - The most heavily visited area is Ko Ratanakosin, Bangkoks old city on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River. Visit the Grand Palace, Wat Pra Kaew Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Wat Mahatat, the Golden Mount and Wat Suthat. The citys founding pillar Lak Muang is also located in the district, as are the Banglampoo and Khao San Road. Direction to the Property from North - Northern Bangkoks touristic highlight is Chatuchak Weekend Market, best reached by catching the skytrain. Mor Chit bus terminal is located near the same stop. To catch an inter-provincial bus heading north or northeast. Direction to the Property from South - Buses heading south from Bangkok leave from Sai Tai bus terminal. Bangkok was once referred to as The Venice of the East, but today the klongs or canals are concentrated in Thonburi, the area lying to the West of Chao Phraya River. You can take a klong tour, and most will stop at Wat Arun Temple of Dawn and the Royal Barges Museum. Direction to the Property from West - Young Thais and keen shoppers go for the Siam Square, Siam Paragon. The area around the Victory Monument features a variety of bars including Saxophone Pub and Restaurant. This is also a major transport hub, with the Skytrain and plenty of buses passing through.
