Tranquil location in a suburb but only 5 minutes walking distance from the historical town centre of Garmisch. Family managed Hotel, warm-hearted and attentive employees. Located at the foot of the Zugspitze, Germanys highest Mountain Peak.

Kranebitten If you are coming by car from Munich, take the A 95 freeway (Munich Garmisch Partenkirchen) until the end of the freeway and then continue towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen on B2 B23. At the Marienplatz, turn left into Alpspitzstrasse and stay on this street for approx. 100m. Then turn right into Hoellentalstrasse.If you are coming by car from Innsbruck Mittenwald on Bundesstrasse 2, you will enter Partenkirchen first. Turn left at the 3rd traffic signal and go towards the train station (Bahnhof), pass the train station, go through the underpass, then, after the 3rd traffic signal, turn right into Alpspitzstrasse towards Marienplatz. Next, turn left into Hoellentalstrasse after 50 meters (55 yards) and follow this street for approx. 250 meters (274 yards) until you reach the Staudacherhof, Hoellentalstrasse 48. The German railway, Deutsche Bundesbahn, departs from the Munich central train station, Hauptbahnhof, for Garmisch Partenkirchen on an hourly basis. There is a taxi stand in front of the station.
