Since 1913 the Victoria Palace Hotel has been a landmark of the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Located on a quiet street between the bustling Rue de Rennes and the charming, 18th-century rue du Cherche-Midi, the hotel truly is an expression of the Rive gauche. Strikingly large for the Left Bank, the smallest known simply as Rooms start at approximately 25m /260 sq feet whilst over half the Junior Suites and One-Bedroom Suites are 35m /375 sq feet or more. Their marble bathrooms have powerful lights and hair-dryers, high-speed internet access is available in every room wired and wireless the telephones are equipped with voice-mail, every room has a work-desk, etc Needless to say, all the rooms are sound-proofed and air-conditioned ; bathrobes and slippers are provided for all guests. Last but not least, the Victoria Palace Hotel has its very own, private garage.A special touch provided by the hotel are the neighbourhood guides covering local markets, craftsmen, chocolates and general shopping : they focus on a wealth of small, independent shops and artisans most visitors probably would not find on their own. A way of allowing each and every visitor to go home just that little bit more Parisian than he or she arrived. Since October 1st 2012, the Victoria Palace Hotel has been officially rated as a five-star property by the French tourist authority Atout France.
